IS IT MESSY?

Yes, prepare to get messy in the Splat Room! Do not wear good clothes or shoes. Paint is water based, tempera certified, non-toxic and conforms to ASTM D-4236 regulations. However… it CAN STAIN certain fabrics! Spinning uses acrylic paint that does stain and is not washable. The majority of splash is contained in the protective ring. We do provide aprons.

WHAT KIND OF SHOES SHOULD I WEAR?

Closed toe shoes required for safety. No running.

CAN I BRING DECORATIONS?

You may bring tablecloths and balloons, if you wish.

CAN WE BRING CAKE AND FOOD?

Pizza or light fare may be brought in for guests. Nearby suggestions can be provided.

Birthday parties may bring cupcakes and closed drinks i.e. water bottles, capri suns, juice boxes

DO WE TAKE HOME OUR ARTWORK?

Yes, we give a carry out box for mess-free transportation.

ARE THERE REFUNDS?

NO REFUNDS, due to the nature of our business and blocking your slot for other reservations.

You can reschedule in an available time slot. Call to reschedule.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

No, we are all ages except for the adult nights. We leave the discretion up to the parents or guardians. Kids of all ages love playing in the paint. Some children may be overwhelmed by the excitement and paint throwing. We can tape cardstock low, for our tiny guests to participate in the fun. Birthday parties should be age 6 and up unless parents are coming in splat room with a 1:1 ratio, for assistance.

Any participant under the age of 7 must have at least one registered adult in the splat room with them. If you have minors in the building at least one parent/guardian must stay in the building. We do not provide babysitting services.

CAN I ARRIVE EARLY?

Please call and ask first! We might be cleaning up and getting ready for the next event!

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Channeling your inner artist, of course! You will be given a quick demo, instruction on how to use the brushes available with some suggestions and ideas for inspiration. The final masterpiece is in your hands!

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?

Yes, please have all guests sign a waiver online before arrival. Let’s spend our time painting not doing paperwork!

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY T-SHIRT?

Let dry 24 hours, iron on high heat, spray with white vinegar, dry for 24 hours, wash in cold water separate from other laundry, just in case. Flat dry. This should help maintain the color for several washings.

CAN I SHARE MY CANVAS?

Unfortunately, no. Each person must register with a canvas.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE BEFORE?

If you are changing clothes before, please be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a timely start for your session. However, do be prepared for cleanup post-session – bring wipes and towels!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE?

We will not extend your reservation if you are late to your session’s start time.

CAN I BRING AN EXTRA SHIRT?

Yes, you may bring one shirt from home to wear or hang and splat. You may also bring a hanger from home or they are available for purchase in-store.

What are the Splat Room Rules?

No smoking, no vaping, no liquids, no running, no gymnastics, no standing on tables. We reserve the right to request anyone not following rules leave the premises.
